Each practice is set up within a shopping centre environment to maximize exposure to the public and potential clients. Within a practice, there is a team of 3 key individuals who work together to achieve goals and outcomes.
 
Role Description:
The role of the Client Relations/ Medical Receptionist is a full-time role within the practice. You will support the Audiologist by being the face of the practice and engaging with patients coming in either for an appointment or walk-ins. The patients are predominantly older patients living within retirement villages and the like. You will manage the full administrative process for the client including medical aid claims and accounts. You will coordinate the diary as at times, the Audiologist will conduct home visits. Additionally, you will assist with the day to day running of the practice including stock control. In your spare time, you will contact existing clients who need upgrades and help with other sales initiatives to drive client appointments within the practice.
Requirements:
You must live within a reasonable proximity of the practice (up to 10kms)
You must be appropriately presented to work in a frontline position and be friendly and outgoing
Absolutely clear communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
It will be ideal if you have previous experience in a medical receptionist role, specifically for a small practice where you needed to manage the patient accounts/ medical aids as well
Previous work experience on Goodx will be a great benefit and generally good computer literacy
You must have your own vehicle
On offer:
The salary on offer is R12 – 15 000 gross.  You work Monday to Friday and standard working hours are 8am – 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break to be taken in the middle of the day.
