Our client, a managed care organisation is looking for a Brokers Consultant (Medical Scheme). This is an equal opportunity organisation with various businesses and/ or subsidiaries that service clients in the medical scheme and insurance industries.
 
Reporting to: Head of Sales and Servicing
Hours: 8 Hours per day | 40 Hours per week | Fulltime Employee
Location: PretoriaHead Office
 
JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for executing advisor training, support, and relationship building in order for the scheme to be positioned as the Scheme of choice for the Intermediary and their clients. To implement effective strategies that will position the Distribution Channel as the delivery structure of the scheme with particular emphasis on the achievement of growing Umvuzo Health’s membership within specified sectors.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Training of brokers and brokerage teams in products and services.
  • Create and maintain valuable relationships with stakeholders and distribution partners.
  • Conduct distribution stakeholder analysis – enhancing their service delivery and advice proposition.
  • Develop and execute implementation strategy in partnership with sales team and support team, inclusive of continual brand and product awareness.
  • Develop and implement Service Level Agreement in collaboration with Distribution. Partners and key client stakeholders.
  • Keep updated with the competition and market trends and develop strategies to stay ahead.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client experience and expectations.
  • Generate additional business through cross selling and generic client growth
  • Continuously monitor client satisfaction levels via feedback sessions, surveys and assessments.
  • Attaining sales targets which are monitored quarterly.
  • Monthly Reporting to Head of Sales and Servicing.
 
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the medical scheme/financial services environment.
  • Related tertiary qualification or working towards a tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in marketing and relationship management.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport (Willingness to travel, especially during our year end periods.
  • Presentation skills and public speaking are a necessity
  • MS Office with strong PowerPoint Skills.

Market related Cost to Company (CTC) based on experience and qualifications. CTC includes Medical Aid and Pension Fund.
